Hey guys,

I'm interested in getting the Rockerverb 50. I recently went to Yamaha at Plaza Singapura and all the Oranges were gone ! Replaced by Laney amps. Is there anywhere that sells the RVerb ?

Yamaha is the distributor for Orange here, so if it's out of stock, check with them to see when the next shipment will arrive and if i'm not wrong, they are having year end sale right now. If not, check out some of the dealers like ebenex or sound alchemy, they carry some of the Orange products.

Yamaha overprices stuff.. im using the rockverb 50 MK1 i got from soft.

Yamaha's 2x12 orange cabs retail at 1.4k you could get a 4x12 for that price. Your best bet is online. Shipping is costly but still cheaper than what yamaha sells. Check out ebay or 2nd hand forums from overseas and stuff.

Oh.. Hmmm, if that's the case, maybe i'll try out the amp there ( sent them an email about it) and if i like it, i'll get it online.

Yamaha purposely overprices their amps at beatspot so that they can sell more amps via their distributors. I believe Sound Alchemy and Ebenex are distributing their stuff also, do email them for a quote!

Yeah, thanks ! I just checked Ebenex website and they have the Rockerverb 30. I'll ask them if they have the 50. Sound Alchemy only has the Crush and Tiny series. I'll probably go to Ebenex next week and check em out.

dude, pedalitis is selling an orange OR 80 head in the classifieds. hes a great seller ive bought stuff from him and traded gear with him too hes totally reliable. you should check out his orange head he's raved about it before n he knows his stuff.

I got my rockerverb 50 mkII from Yamaha last year at the price of $2159 after some promotion that was going on. The cheapest price I could find on eBay right now for a brand new rockerverb 50 mkII is USD$1529, after conversion, SGD$1940 +/-, and that's still not inclusive of shipping. And what about wattage issue if you are getting it from US? How about warrenty?

The internet has given us a lot of choices when it comes to purchase, but one has to really do his research and compare on is it really worth the hassle and risk just to save $100 - $200?

Yeah, you have a good point ItAcHi. If i can find a Rockerverb here in SG, i'd probably buy it in a heartbeat. However, none of the local shops seem to have it in stock and i like to try amps before i buy. Ebenex has the Rockerverb 30, is it about the same ? As i'm still undecided between the Rockerverb,Thunderverb, and AD30. Ebenex has all three in stock except the 50.

I believe it's the Rocker 30 that ebenex have stock on, well of course besides the wattage difference, rocker 30 does not have reverb feature unlike the rockerverb 50. In terms of sound, I would say they share similarities in tone, but of cos u will expect the 50 to have larger headroom. If your aim is mainly for home use and small gigs, the Rocker 30 will suffice the need, but if u are looking to play on the big stage or playing loud at home is not an issue, the rockerverb 50 will definitely be the machine to go for.

With that said, do head down to ebenex to try out the rocker 30 and get the feel of it and see if that's the voice u are searching for.

Hello Narakesh,

If you're genuinely interested in getting a rockerverb50, do drop an email to sales@soundalchemy.com.sg for a quote.
Stores here generally do not put out the higher end models for "testing purposes". I have a good grasp of my distributor's stock
level so I can safely tell you that the Rockerverb50 is only available on order. So there's none in Singapore for you to test,
except for maybe in the second hand market.

However you can be sure that we can make up for it with a very good price.
So once again, if you're interested please drop us an email.
