Where to buy affordable and decent quality XLR cables?

hi all, need up with the following. im looking for 3 metres ones for home recording? and how much will it roughly cost? tried courts and harvey norman to no avail. i understand that swee lee sells them. but are they overpriced?

Belden cables with Neutrik connectors, you can customize the length of your cables. 3m should cost less than $20.

As above. LHS Electronics is the place for all your cabling needs. Just made some more mic cables and a guitar cable today. Go with Belden or Canare cables. I personally use Canare L-4E6S for mic cables and GS6 for guitar cables. Neutrik connectors.

i just gotten some samson ones. 20 bucks for 4.5 metres. noticed there's some noise, like ocassional cracking when i plug in my mic. is it due to the cables?
