i got posted to rp new media, bt qualified for fsv in NP. still hoping to get into SP media and comm bt if i cant, it'll be NP for me

anyways my fren's bro once told me that there a lot of politics involved in the FSV.if the people dun like u , u're as good as being dead , if the people like u , expect an enjoyable time there....

i heard these people would resort to accusing u of being a lazy bum and telling the lectuerers about u doing nothing condusive during the entire course of the project even thou if it was like more of the direct opposite which obviously implies that u get a big fat ZERO grade for that particular project while ur other group members get all the credit....

supplementary paper is another paper in case u fail. So u can retake it and try to pass rather than get retain. But it have been abolished. And u r paying more for poly school fees for them to abolish the supp paper. I feel unfair for all SP students.

how much do i expect to be paying per semester if i make it to SP in july????

er......if i remember correctly, shld be around 2k over after being subsidised. Not sure how much the increase is. 1 year is 2k over. before subsidising is 10k over.

my piano teacher's friend use to be in the head of department for Music at La Salle SIA and she's like freaking pissed at me because i did not let her listen to my audition pieces in advance before i played it on the CD player for my audition...

she even wanted to call that fren who is now the president of the piano teachers association of singapore or smth like that...kinda big shot eh?
she wants her fren to do something about it and if possible let the people at La Salle SIA take me into consideration...

but anyways i told her i'll do sound engineering as a side interest apart from my future professional career and also not only other fellow softies but working adults as well tell me that being a self taught sound engineer is already good enough , if not be of comparable standard to those sound engineers wif certs....

so basically right now , my piano teacher is gonna ask her good fren who is a sound engineer to be my "mentor"......

it's good to have a piano teacher who has countless numbers of contacts to musicians....

the thing is juz be ur normal self , dun try to act like a smart alec even if u are intelligent , dun show it in such a way where u're trying to tell the entire class that u're king of the world...

i'm sure the same thing applies to all other courses as well regardless of the poly in which u are in....
