where can i get tapewound bass strings

ok,i've searchd a few places but have yet to find a shop in singapore that sells tapewound bass strings.

can anyone help me on this?

anyway, i'm thinking of using them on my acoustic bass (not upright), is it advisable? Cause a fren mention that the piezo pickups might not pickup the sound well for tapewounds comparing to roundwounds
