ishibashi sells them. i don't know about the price comparisons, but i do know that there are (or were, at one point of time at least) some 4003's in fantastic condition in the u-box.

foreigners are still allowed to buy guitars from ishibashi except fender japan, and at any rate, overseas customers can buy anything from the u-box including fender. but then... the exchange rates lately are INSANE :evil:

The ASIA dealer for rickenbacker does not offer lower price so you may want to try other sites to get lower price for ur basses.

There is a rickenbacker at Guitar connection not sure about the price its still there though.....

Rickenbackers are bound to be more than 2.5k so.... be prepared..
