American Psycho, Se7en and the Hannibal Series all of which are really good psychological thrillers.

What about Gothika? It's marketed as a horror film but I think it is more of a psychological / supernatural thriller with since it's about how a ghost exposed a rape/murder she was a victim of... The scares were really good, heavily influenced by Asian horror films but without over-doing the scare factor, but the scares were rather few with more investigation, sneaking parts, stuff like that.

Identity was probably among the best psychological thrillers I've ever watched, though. Hide and Seek was pretty scary but a damn good film, too! The Others was really very scary. The creepy factor was very well done but perhaps a little over-done. I think it matched Shutter, but I watched Shutter with other people so it didn't seem all that scary.

I also like football theme movies..

anyone remember FEVER PITCH - the movie centre around the Arsenal team and featured the greatest momemnt ever in AFC history when a last minute goal bu Michael Thomas at Anfield in 89 won AFC the league chmapionship!

CLASSIC! Painful for pool fans to watch as well ....

"Thomas, charging through the midfield... it's up for grabs now... Thomas, right at the end!"

It's been 20 years since commentator Brian Moore described the thrilling climax to the 1988/89 season and Arsenal fans know the words off by heart. And no wonder. Football just does not get more dramatic than it did on that famous night at Anfield.

Michael Thomas' goal is surely the most famous in Arsenal's history but, with other factors to take into account, it had to settle for No 6 in our poll when the fans had their say.

The story doesn't really need re-telling but here goes anyway. Arsenal had to win by two clear goals to snatch the title from Liverpool - a feat few thought possible at the 1980s fortress which was Anfield. Alan Smith's glancing header gave Arsenal hope but, as the game entered stoppage time, George Graham's valiant team looked like missing out.

Then it happened. John Lukic threw the ball out to Lee Dixon, his raking pass found Smith and he in turn found Thomas. A fortunate bounce off Steve Nicol left Thomas clear on goal and, as the Liverpool defenders converged on him, the midfielder flicked the ball past Bruce Grobbelaar.

because of michael thomas' heroics on that match, liverpool signed him.. but he turned out to be a flop

HAHAHAA HE WAS A FLOP FOR POOL COZ THEY DIDNT HAVE THE STARS LIKE AFC HAD TO MAKE HIM LOOK GOOD

haha nice article on the afc match.

movies i'd prefer are war movies - we were soldiers, black hawk down etc.
of cuz cartoons wouldnt hurt as well. .haha

No specific genre, as long as the movie is nice to watch, good enuf for me.

movies such as the green mile, you've got mail, sleepless in seattle, the godfather trilogy, heat, the talented mr ripley, good will hunting, american history x, etc.

good movie, just like a good book, you just doesn't want it to end.

EugeneSmasher - Yeah! Gothika was an excellent film, man!! It was sick though what her husband did to those young girls in their basement.

Yeah, agreed. The Others was freaking scary! It's sad though that they all didn't realise they were dead.

Yea, Identity is my fav psyc thriller movie.

Oh hey, what's SHUTTER about?
