What's your definition of a talented musician?

one who is able to play by ear or maybe even play by sight(now dat's freaky),can improvise without any formal training on theory?

one who absorbs things twice as fast as ur average tom , dick and harry?

i think a good musician is one who is happy and completely satisfied with what he is playing at that moment....there are many guys who are not trained and dun have many techniques but are still amazing...there are guys who are completely trained and just kick ass too.....bottom line is music is all about that moment you played something...and if you are happy with what u played at that moment,then i think you are a good musician...hehe just my thoughts)

Difficult to define. In the end, it is defined by the listeners/ audience. A musician who sounds talented to a person may not sound talented at all to another.
