Interesting thread... i realised that i only named my guitars when i was still single...

Here are a sample of their names:
- Iris: my first electric guit, paintwork was deep greyish shimmering surface
- Red: slimbody semi-acoustic that was flame red top
- Rose: black dreadnought with a rose inlay on the fretboard
- Alexis: yamaha aex500, name came from the model
- Mica: a dreadnought from the 1st batch of Custom Acoustic that came to Singapore
- Blackie: a real cheapo bass that was (u guessed it) jet black
- Goldie: my Godin LG

The rest were not named... i bought them after i got married :>

(BTW, all the named guits has since found new owners... Rose is residing somewhere in New York, Mica n Blackie in Perth, Alexis should be in Jakarta somewhere, Red in Yishun. Oh, Iris is with me - sentimental value lah *grin*)

Anyway, Black Beauty was what I named my acoustic, because she's all black! :mrgreen: My Jewel blue Ibanez GSA60 (modded) is called Emily. But I'm thinking of other names because for sure someone has named their guitar Emily too.
