what pickup should i get

i'm buying a ec50 at davis and i was wondering
which bridge humbucker pickup shall i buy for my ec50
pls tell me the also the price of this 2 pickups

i have 2 choices:

Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB Humbucker Pickup (Passive)

EMG-81 Humbucking Guitar Pickup (Active)

i'm into like gNr,a7x,trivium,endeverafter,paramore,green day type of bands
i wan a humbucker pickup that can give me
more heavy & crunchy palm muting
sweet meaty pinch harmonics
clear open chords...

which 1 shall i get...

i personally don't like EMGs sound
... if u r metalhead, never using it for clean play without distortion ... go for EMGs

actually i've managed to get a decent clean tone from emg humbuckers by rolling the volume knob to abt 5. abit of high frequency loss though.

haha just roll off the drive knob and crank the volume of SS amps. and you get crunchy pringles when you palm mute. haha.

erm. does it sound like a little bit of acoustic...? because when i roll my tone to 4/5, and volume at full, the dimebucker sounded really like an acoustic.

that doesnt make any sense. if u roll down the tone knob high frequencies get cut. how does muddy tone sound like an acoustic.

volume at 4/5 and tone full is it? u mixed it up.

no it doesnt sound like an acoustic. my electric guitars nvr sound like an acoustic no matter what i do. unless the guitar happens to have a piezo installed.

i used to think emgs were awesomeeee now i totally hate emgs so much, your tone is compromised, etc. i did fit a gold pickup cover over an emg long ago though, took lots of sanding the emg.. haha
