What Pedals Makes your solo's/shredding sound smoother and nicer

Theres this effect called the practice pedal. Can't be bought anywhere, gotta build it yourself, everyday practice 2 hours. Then the pedal will appear out of thin air.

hahaha. i agree with hydrofly.
practice makes permanent(not perfect).
which means if you repeat the wrong things over and over again, its permanent.
practice.the number one key:D

No need to buy pedals! Just use your neck pickup for smooth, creamy solos! :P

Okay, if that doesn't work for you, stack your gain pedals and add delay as what others have suggested. Personally my setup goes: Keeley TS-9DX-->BB preamp-->RC booster.

Ok to play fast, you need to nail a few things. The big thing is your picking, it must be fast and DAMN CONSISTENT. I stress on consistency because the jerkiness in shredding comes from inconsistent picking strength.

Next, coordination, your left and right hand must be in perfect sync. When you shred, a slight mess up on either of your hands will throw both hands totally out of sync.

Just keep doing drills and non stop practice runs and you'll get there.

If you do not want more saturation but you want a more consistent pick attack with less variation in dynamics try a compressor before your amp or main drive, it helps to tighten up the overall sound and give more squish. Some good compressors i would recommend would be the Goosoniqueworx Citrus or the Maxon CP101 which i am using, which are opto-based.

Compressors tend to retain the original tone of your guitar and amp rather than altering it, which something like a tubescreamer like pedal will do. However due to my lack of technique i actually need a tubescreamer and a compressor to aid me (since i like doing ritchie kotzen style runs).

Try one and see if you like it.

but some players like me which are extremely dynamic need uncompressed drives. so i use a barber ltd as my main clean boost. works brilliantly. sweetens up everything

lol. i'm very amused by these threads. this pedal to get this sound la, this pedal to whack a solo swee swee.. I believe something in the vein of a SHO will probably sex your solo tone up a notch?
