What options do i have? (audio recording)

okay so im looking to do some simple recording.. not looking at pro level just want decent stero. dont need alot of input. maybe max only 1 mic + 1 instrument (bass/ electric guitar/acoustic guitar) i have a sadowsky preamp which acts as a DI so problably will use that for all my instruments. so just wondering wat devices do i require no need super pro. decent can liao. searched around here saw ppl recommand M-Audio. hows its latency and yes will be working on a mac osx platform.

i won't recommend m-audio. experiences with 2 m-audio products and not a fan how their pre-amp sounds.

Presonus stuffs are pretty good.not sure on the firebox.

I won't recommend M-audio but then again to each his own.

macbook pro. looking at presonus firebox looks cool. but donno if its like way over wat i need.

Or my favorite low cost, low latency, excellent driver solution - Echo. For your low input needs, something like Echo Audiofire 2 is a good option.
