it would matter if the categorization of bands in each genre was possible to be decided in some form or the other..in this case it doesnt matter...because most of the newer age bands are a fusion of various metal genres....however if they do have significant thrash elements..like Lamb of god...they qualify for this poll...

Its preferences. Not everyone starts listen to thrash through Metallica. I will only listen to their first 4 albums.
