carnal forge, mastodon, lamb of god, meshuggah, slayer, anthrax, metallica, kreator, testament, strapping young lad and so on.
i dont remember lamb of god being thrash???

local heroes playing full force thrash metal is, the mighty, BLOODSTONE!
so far, they're the only local band i see so far that sticks to what they want to play. that is GOOD OLD THRASH METAL. have to respect them for keeping thrash in sg old school and alive in the midst of more brutal death bands around.

Seriously mang i feel that we have to move on with time and i really feel that after awhile the old school stuff gets abit dry. and its natural for musicians to have stuff more brutallity and aggression. I'm a big fan of death metal man. especially stuff like bloodbath, grave, amoral, nile and decapitated, hell even local acts like absence of the sacred. icheck them out. ts very ass whoopin. might change ur mind. Im not saying i dont like the old school stuff. it has influenced me in many ways. i still find the 1st 3 metallica albums memorable. thats what started me to go into thrash. recycling the old school stuff becomes monotonous after awhile. its like been there, done that sorta stuff. we need fresh ideas stuff like that. i'd love to see aband coming out with smth new. thatll be more exciting. You might wanna check modern thrash bands out like Carnal Forge and the Crown and maybe Kreators newer stuff. I like kreators stuff from pleasure to kill and coma of souls. but enemy of god is just fuckin awesome. well thats my own personal opinion. you dont have to agree with me. Thrash and Destroy!!!!
