What is the difference between the different kind of bass?

What are the main difference in
1) Tone
2) Structure
3) Price range
4) Material
5) Pickups
between a Jazz bass, a precision bass and a acoustic bass?

I know its hard to give answer to all section(1-5) but just try to tell me something to the best of your knowledge regarding each section? I appreciate it a lot!

I'm new to buying basses, thus these answers can be (wow) knowledge, and also just FYInormation. Useful to know these stuffs!
