What happened to my twin pedal?

hey guys...

was playing around with my boss od-20 twin pedal on the mt-2 setting and guess what...

my chugging became some half-assed nasal stack sound or somethin'. same goes to the metal and loud presets. it didnt have that kind of thrashy sound anymore. now those 2 settings sound like some fked up overdrive.

the tone came back after i plugged out the adapter and plugging it in back. but after a while, it just disappeared. and now its gone for good. ive tried reseting to the default factory settings, but as usual, it didnt have the same tone ive had before. im currently using the stack setting which is presently the thrashiest and heaviest thing available to me, but it aint the shit for me. =(

i have not been using a boss adapter but another one i bought from ranking. does it also affect the pedal in this way?

i still have the receipt from swee lee from when i bought it, which also is the warranty. will they be able to help me rectify the problem? if not, how do i solve this pedal issue?

thanks!

okay i tried. the metal zone is fine already. but the loud metal settings still sounds like an overdrive with and without it. and it randomly switches to a heavy dist. by itself..

wtf..

Boss have a pretty long warranty on their pedals. Take it back to the dealer.

I used to have a problem with my Korg Ax1500. The knobs would jump even though they're in the detent.

oh ya that problem.....my korg ax1500g acts like it has a mind of its own. one moment im on distortion, the next thing i know im on phaser mode.

my warranty is up tho. theres no way i can repair it right?

You can get it repaired, but it'll cost you...

My FloorPOD occasionally has a mind of its own, which is why I stopped using it. Must be a problem often found in complicated digital stuff.
