What guitar should i buy ?

Guys i need help here =) i know not much about brands and stuffs my budge is below 500 if you guys are wondering

I wanna buy electric guitar but im not sure which to buy. i've played for 2 years of guitar.

Previously used guitar is a cheap one and now it's sort of you know G_G so i was hoping you guys would gimme some recommendation on which guitar you guys would buy if you played guitar for 2 years =D

I reckon your $500 would need to include amp as well if you are currently playing acoustic guitar? Can try those Hamer guitar + line 6 amp combo package from City Music. Good gears for a beginner plus still below your budget

epiphone , easy to sell too , so you have resale value there , once you get that epi , your on a fast track to get a gibson anyway , or try the greco

My recommendation is that you don't actually look for a brand of any sort, but that you find a guitar that you're comfortable, and one that you like the sound of.

Go test it out, bring a friend well-versed in guitars along too, it helps a lot, although it takes quite a bit of courage to take the guitar off the stand and try it. You'll be fine with a couple of friends.

buy a timbre strat for $290. then get a roland cube amp or sound drive amp.

+1 to slimo's comment. Excellent choices, timbres. Wld advise u spend any extra cash on the modded DS1 available at the shop.......great sound and value 4 money. Especially praise-worthy on the timbre are the great-sounding stock pickups. As for the amp, a sound drive or a vox pathfinder will suit ur needs to a T.
