What good distortion to get sia?

Hey guys,

Do you all know which distortion pedal can get me a thin distortion sound?
Like the intro of Out Ta Get Me by Guns And Roses? (is it thin? lol i want that distortion sound!)

probably a les paul thru a marshall and lots of post recording eq-ing and tweaking.. try getting a marshall type distortion and mess with the eq on your amp or if u have an eq pedal. I would suggest a catalinbread DLS, i think it can pull of that sound..u can try bumping up your mids and cutting bass to get that thin sound

can i get a seventh heaven pedal and an EQ pedal,

it probably would work. ive never tried the 7th but from demos it sounds like it could pull it off. maybe u shd wait for those that have tried it to reply, i cant give u advice on the 7th..

That's weird, most people want fat-sounding distortions because its easier to take away the mids to create a thinner sound rather than trying to put in nonexistent mids. But excessive EQ-ing makes it sound sterile. I think the DLS can pull it off, with quite some EQ-ing, but the 7th Heaven.......think that might be pushing it.
