For a long time i always thought blues = jazz. haha

I think i know what jazz is. Jazz is pure music and feel. I dont think one can "fake" jazz.

Jazz = weird time signature, alot of improvisation/freestyling. Bluesy...

The most famous would be miles Davis, John Coltrane and of coz...Thelonious Monk...haha...

Extremely varied (Big Band, Vocal standards, Bebop, Swing, Fusion, Latin, Gypsy, etc.)
Often harmonically sophisticated (though not always)
Often features lots of weird chords (such as 7ths, 9ths, 13s, Diminished)
Often improvised
Often features virtuosic playing
Often tedious/boring to listen to
Often surprising
Often far more self/over indulgent than any shredder that you care to name
Often just a little bit gay
..probably worth learning in approach, stealing, then reapplying.

Obviously, you have not heard smooth or funk jazz. And neither heard of Ray Charles among other drug taking, womanizing jazz musicians.

I said 'often', not always. You assume wrongly. I've heard plenty of smooth or funk jazz.

jazz origin from the blues, in fact all or most music origin from the blues. it was during those gd old slavery things when the black slaves will gather to play something and slowly jazz came out when they improvised

there are so many gd jazz musicians ard, mastery over all kinds of instruments
