Band: Vulgate Dogmas

After the fall of Jackalhyde, a few who were from that outfit still wanted to pursue their musical expression. But this time, in something more aggressive, technical and complex then what they have done before.

This is their story...
The idea of forming a new band after the official defunct of Jackalhyde came around the time of August 2006. It was an idea that was discussed and thought about for quite some time between Irwan and Shawn who themselves were the originals members of their previous band. After the plan had been finalised, they decided to call upon the services of another ex Jackalhyde bandmate, Eugene.

After nearly weeks of searching a drummer, a guy called Indera finally came and decided to join the fold. All thanks to Abu of 7 Pound Vein. Realising that the band's line up was nearly complete, they got ready for the long and hard search for the person who had the same mindset and drive to step up to plate and use the mic as a weapon of expression. And it was a long and hard search indeed...

Nearly a month had passed since August of 2006. By then, the band had already decided to have Vulgate Dogmas as their official band name. But yet they had no vocalist. However the band still continued to push hard on making their originals and at the same time finding the person they were looking for. As believing in perseverance, the search for a vocalist finally paid off. Abel was auditioned and he's definitely the guy for the job.

With the band's line up complete, they're getting ready to either finish up or make new originals. Once they have enough materials in their hands, a recording of their debut E.P. will be put into play. Plus they are very anxious to perform live in wherever possible. Let it be in Singapore or overseas.

To put it simple, Vulgate Dogmas is getting ready to kill...are you?

For those who're interested in Draconis Infernum, their CDs are still available at Inokii, Hell's Labyrinth, Blind Disciple Distro and the band themselves. Will have to come early for this show since they're opening this time. Another show would be on January 10th 2009 before they'll go on a short tour to Germany including playing at Barther Metal Open Air festival over there. Another band from Southeast Asia making it to the European shores!!
