hmm. i gathered about 5 totally mangled pairs of specs(frames) with either shattered or missing lenses. also found were a few individual keys. one of which looked like it belonged to a kawasaki motorbike. some dude lost his wallet and another his cap. i remembered a guy leaving his laptop on the stage too...just to get in on the action...during the action.

Seems to me that people only know how to complain about mosh pit these days.

I wasn't at the whole show (left after Fishtank), but have to say my overall vibe for Fishtank's set was that it was like being back in year 2000 when Fishtank were at their previous peak. Only difference was that the crowd was way more aggro. Ok la don't have the kungfu shit, but you did have 30plus skinheads at every show deliberately kicking people in the back with their big boots, and basically looking for Someone to beat up (yes, the play on my nick is on purpose!).
totally didn't get that "fight about to start" vibe at this weekend trip.

kudos to Invasion Productions for doing such a great job with this show. They have certainly raised the bar for weekend trip. It is a good advert for the local scene

the moshpit during fishtank was ok.... but people were like moshing instead of skanking during the ska parts. i really dunno why.

but the 180's set was really violent. wait until u get punched, elbowed and kicked then u will be complaining like us. and im not saying u wont get injured in a moshpit, u will surely come out with a few bruises. but punching, elbowing and kicking on purpose is seriously NOT moshing.
