Webcam spoilt ?

hey people , wondering if you guys can help .
i just bought a webcam today . I installed the software and followed the instructions but when i plug the usb in , the computer simply puts "Usb device not recognized " it worked actually for about 1 min then "error" and cannot work anymore .

anyone encountered same stuff before ?

did you follow the instructions? Cause if you did then there shouldn't be a problem. Try bringing it back to where you got it and tell the person about it. They might change it for you. Or you can un-install and install the program again..

i think i did that 3 times lol , maybe its my usb port lol . but my mouse works fine in all ports , hmm i wonder .
Maybe i'll bring it to a computer tech tmr .. dam boring , dam far

from my experience , its your usb port. just "wriggle" your webcam port connect to the computer usb one abit till can.

yes ! it works now lol .
At first went back the guy tested and there was nothing wrong with the webcam , worked fine UNTIL he restarted the com and tried again then the error came out , haha lucky if not wouldnt be able to get the refund .

it was due to a faulty usb thingy on the webcam , but anyways , thanks to everyone !
