wavering between a colt and custom acoustic

Need to get a guitar for practice at home.
Cannot decide between a cort earth and custom acoustic FG, both are solid top about the same price range, or should I spend $400+ for a full solid custom acoustic with pick up.

I wouldn't think so much about solid top or full solid unless i'm shelling in the range of thousands for an acoustic guitar. What's more important is that it sounds good for what you're paying for.

Do you really need a on-board pickup? If you think you might need it in the future then you can go ahead and buy it. If not you can save the money.

Do you like the looks? It's not part of the sound but it sure does inspire you to pick your guitar up to play.
