Warwick basses have a tendency for stripped truss rod nuts and a replacement neck would cost $700 and up. Here's how your beloved warwick bass can be revived.
Fretboard is heated up with a heating blanket and separated with a 'blunt' knife. The maple strip covering the rod is removed using hot steam. Compare the new rod to the old rod on the left.
The new rod is put in and reglued. Neck works as good as new now.
