hi ! getting a new bass soon and just curious to enquire.

anyone had any experiences with warwick rock bags ? any idea what is the price range like and where can i get one ?

help would be very very greatly appreciated. thanks

I have one (for electric guitar) and, well, you get what you pay for. It's a normal case. Nothing really special about it. Padding is thin but sufficient. There's a similar case being sold in Davis, which IMO, is padded better and the material feels like ballistic nylon.

hmmz.. came across their website.

they claim each warwick rock bag has 30 mm of padding plus a neck retainer strap to hold the guitar / bass neck to the bag and prevent it from moving when inside the bag.

i have one and yea, i agree that the one in davis has a better padding, but i like the rockbag cuz there's compartments here and there, also, the neck saver thing is wonderful.

the best part is, bag is water resistant, i neva tot twice bout carrying my bass on my back while it's raining.

bro where did ya get yours and how much did ya pay for it ?

i hear swee lee has it but i m not too sure after the big sales since it wiped off their entire strock on display

I find that while rockbags have good padding, they just don't last. They start tearing after a few weeks.

I've been using a bass rockbag from a friend to keep my guitar and it started to tear slightly so I went to buy a guitar rockbag at the Swee Lee Sale.

Now theres 2 tears in the bag near its carry strap and handle.

there are two type of Warwick Rockbag. One with the extra thick padding (even thicker than Fender Deluxe gig bag), listed at $90 in Sweelee, this one IMO is very good bag.. The other one is just a cheapo gig bag, very thin, cost about $30. Both has wording "Rockbag by warwick", so don't get the wrong one.

Hmmm... I bought the $90 one at the sale... and yeah, my guitar isn't exacatly like a les paul... so I really doubt their quality..

I have the 90 bucks one too... it has great padding and there is a thickly padded strap to hold the guitar... when I putt my guitar in it, it is secure... my guitar is a superstrat shape... It is also water prove and the strap system is comfortable...

i got the cheaper one $30, yea, it'll start tearin abit. but still serves me well. water proof is the best man, neva scared cuz of rain.
