yeah.. thats the thing.. the previous sale at katong with $10 entrance fee is prior to the DJ thingie.. den now it applies to this upcoming sale too? its ridiculous.. come on sweelee.. trying to make profit even if they didnt manage to sell their stuffs... and for us.. we'll lose $10 just like dat if we didnt buy anything at the sale, trying to make us at least buy something from em just to make our paid entrance fee to be well.. worth... haizzzzzzz...

i guess it's because the $10 entrance fee was an effective measure to inhibit people who just wanna go there see see walk walk and not buy anything and end up clogging up the queue and adding to the crowd and depriving those who really want to buy something from entering the place earlier...

however, i do support the "$10 entrance fee as a rebate from your purchase" notion suggested by many others earlier.

yup, i aso agree that there should be a fee rebate if we buy something, haha, this feels like a two part tariff in economics to get the maximum consumer surplus, economics students would understand wat i am talking abt but still i think the decision eventually lies with swee lee whether they want to impose the 10 dollars fee and whether consumers want to get there, i think i still will be going this wkend coz i got things to get there, haha, c u guys there
