venue depends on a few things..
1)hw many ppl u expecting and what kind of crowd u targetting..
2)safety/crowd control constraints..
3)suitable for ticketing events..
4)indoor/outdoor?(smoking allowed,etc)..
5)equipments provided by venue or do you hv to gt it fm sumwhere..
6)what are the license covered...
the above are just few factors that u hv to consider...
not to mention once u selected a few venues,u nid ample time to book the place...
esp if it's indoors coz most indoor venue(halls) need to be booked a few mths in advance...
unless u cn gt clubs to sponsor ur event then u gt a lot of things covered liao...
