Wahs that work well driven and clean

Aware that most wahs tend to be sound full and nice enough only driven OR clean.
are there any wahs that work well with both and are affordable?
I'm looking to get my first wah and hoping something around the beloe-150-bucks range. hehehe

thanks for any advice in advance!

i'm a noob wah user.. shall share on wahs.
as a noob, i tried rmc (wizard and picture) and budda from tymc, but i wasnt impressed and it didnt feel like 300 bucks to me at all...
so i thought "i'm a real noob messing with boutique stuff and i should not buy it coz ppl will laugh at me" so i dissed wahs.
reason why i didnt like it: either its the amp, the guitar, or i found the wahs too smooth... i wanted something to scream and bite (and i know rmcs can do that) but because of my noobiness...

and then i dropped down to citymusic cause i saw the 90 dollar wah. i just got it.. and i like it:) so sometimes, unless tried a wah and feel the passion for a mojo/good wah, u dont need a super good one that can do both.

but i heard that crybaby 535q can do both... just that for 150 bucks, there aint much out there...

my1/2 cent.

depends how heavy your drive is...
and how much u love wahs, haha.
u gotta audition it yourself... when i tried drive with the rmcs i was. "ok lor"
now i try with my vox, i'm also "ok lor"
so of course the "ok lor" with the lowest amount of money spent wins...

What the threadstarter says is very true.

Usually the wahs with a single function (voxs, crybaby 95c, RMC1, Teese Wizard Wah, Budda, etc) sound good either on clean or gain or performs average with either.

I recall playing some wah (think its a budda) that sounded really wonderful on cleans, all your funk there but when it got to gain... eh... not what I wanted.

What makes sense would be either you get TWO wahs... or those that allow for multiple settings/tweakings.

RMC2.
RMC3.
Dunlop 535Q.
