Wah pedal problem

Hey all,

i just got a wah pedal and it seems that when i rock the pedal backwards, i get very little/soft sound coming from the amplifier especially when i play the higher strings whereas when i rock the pedal forwards, the volume increases by a lot. it seems as though when im rocking my pedal backwards im muting my guitar. is there any problem with my wah pedal?

errr does ur wah pedal control volume too?
coz i know many wah pedals can control volume.

It helps if you can give a lil more info about your wah pedal.What kind and model would be sufficient.....as it would help for those who wanna reply to your queries and with the same kinda wah pedal.

Looks like you got a faulty electrolictic cap which renders it a pseudo volume pedal

sure you got a wah pedal and not a volume pedal bro? best send it to goose to get it checked.

it could be that you put your wah pedal after your distortion pedal . that controls the volume of the overall sound . put it such , your guitar , then wah then distortion or whatever pedal .
