Hmm ok. This is Guitar gear section. But dun see any amps section. So i'll post it here.

Ok! Im planning to get a Vox amp. Either the Vox DA 20 or AD30VT. I've tested both live already. Sounded really the same. Except for the fact that the DA 20 is 20watts, portable and can be played thru Batteries that would give a 5watt output.

The AD30Vt on the other hand is a 30 watter, not really very potarble on my opinion :)

The Vox DA 20 is a Digital Amp. I dun really noe what that means. Could some1 explain to me. And the AD30VT is a normal amp. Both have 11 effect. DA 20's price is 175 while AD30VT is 260. Frm city music.

I want to get a budget amp. Both is good for my type of music.
I would just want to ask the fellow softies what does these few points means

1.Digital Amp and Normal Amp
2.Which would last longer
3.Which is most likely worth the money

Hope u can help! Thnx all!

Hi there, well I guess when you mean normal amp is the non digital one (the tube amp will fall into this)

Well if youre considering price, the digital amp will cost less compared to the tube amps also it's less maintenance in some way.

It all depends on the guitarist preference, if your happy with the sound a particular amp produces, then it will be worth your money.
