Since i've tried the carvin nomad 112 , i've decided to up my budget to 1.2-1.3k.....
any suggestion? wants tube, the tone is much nicer....
Lookin to try the Fender Hot rod deluxe.......tried the deville (not too impressive) and twin revert (super! , but way way over budget)
Where is the cheapest, any suggestion...

hehehe.
do consider the volume of the amp when u buy. tube amps are great, they can also be darn loud.
2nd hand for Fenders. Sweelee is the authorised dealer for Fender Mex/Korea/USA if you want a 1sthand.
There's also other tube amps retailing in the market - Ashdown Peacemaker/Fallen Angel, Ibanez Valbee, Kustom. Tried neither, can't give you any opinions on them. For the Ashdown amps I think u gotta enquire via Ranking Sports.

If your not gigging better get a low wattage tube amp. for one you can crank it without killing yourself or ppl withn a mile of your house. Blues Junior, AC15CC are a few options, try to find the new VC15s from Laney. They seem to be better then their Vox counterparts plus they cheaper. Try the Vintage 16 that Ark recommends, not bad too.
Oh ya you might want to try the Reverend Goblin. 16watts but switachable to 8. Only problem is that Reverend stopped making amps, locally i tink Malcolm still has 2 pieces, he can be reached at empty71@hotmail.com. Just some options low low wattage amps, have only tried the Vintage 16 cant give u opinons on the others.

The Fender 59' Reissue Bassman was going for $1300 during the Swee Lee sales. Playing a strat through that thing was the greatest tonal experience I've ever had. But at 50W with 4x10inch speakers it was way too loud and way to bulky for me. Still, do go try that at least once. It's an experience I tell you.
Also, the whole vintage series of the Carvin is quite similar. Starting with the Vintage16, the Nomad, then the Bel-air (same as Nomad but with 2 speakers). If you like one, you'll probably like them all.

Ah that's very strange... It should be Celestion vintage G12 Vintage 30 speakers. As for the fuzzy sound, I didn't really experience that when I tested it out that time. Really liked the amp when I tried it and was thinking of buying it sometime in the future. Heh you beat me to it.
