I was just wondering if anyone on soft owns this amp? Why on earth did Vox discontinue the hand wired MIUK models damn it.

Probably because it was quite expensive to make it.

Try emailing Nik from Ceriatone and see if he'll entertain a request for one.

There's another UK company which were supposedly breakaway from Vox that makes handwired versions of the Vox classics. I forget the name but be assured that it's BLOODY EXPENSIVE. (So not knowing isn't too much of a loss.)

Oh I read about the breakaway company before. If Vox comes out with a limited edition model of the ac30hw I bet it'll cost much more than what it cost in the past. Ceriatone doesn't seem to do Vox... But I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

IF anyone here has a vintage Vox, how do you feel the Custom Classics fare in comparison? Somehow I feel if I get a Custom Classic I'm wasting my money cause its not the real deal.
