hi,
can the volume pedal used for guitars be able to be used on bass?

saw some pretty affordable ones but not sure if there's a diff for bass and guitars.

are there any recommended yet affordable ones ard?

should i look for those that has wah wah effect also?

Wahs are frequency dependent, but volume isnt. Thus volume pedal is generic. What you should worry is 'low' or 'high' impedance input for the volume pedal.

is there a volume pedal that has both high and low? cause i have an active bass and a passive bass, so wanna use for both if possible

within a vol pedal, theres usually only 1 single pot wired as volume control. Its an extremely simple wiring.

for the low and high impedance, only difference is in the value of the pots.

to have one volume pedal to cater to both, its possible, but not sure if theres any available readily. If handy with diying, can try a dual ganged pot in place of the usual single pot.

That said, finding the correct value dual ganged pot and a volume pedal that can housed it without changing the layout of the structure that holds the pot aint so easy.

theres an easier method to have both though, 2 vol pedal, 1 hi impedance and 1 low, plus an a/b switcher, it will do the same thing.

I'd suggest a preamp that has two inputs, like the Radial Bassbone, or using a simple Boss LS-2 using the A/B setting. Both these options have plenty of utility in other areas too.

ok, maybe let me clarify myself.

i'm looking for the pedal to be compatible for both of my bass but i'm not using both on the stage. i'll only plug in either one every time, not both
