volume control or playing naturally? hmm...

ever considered the acoustics of the room? cause when I jam at beat merch room three they complain i'm too loud. At room one the complain i'm too soft.. So acoustics do play a big part too hehe
 
i played a gig yesterday at sentosa right after Flybar played their set.

seeing that Flybar sounded awesome with the drums totally set in a nice mic-ed volume, i went in and just played my usual.

turns out i drowned out everything.

here's another question to add to the initial thread...


How do we realise that we are drowning out the band? We can't hear whats coming out the mix.

i think that would be when you can't even hear the guitar...didn't the sound guy adjust the mics to suit your drumming?
