i'm looking for a band who's interested in doing something different. different from others.

something experimental, progressive if you know what i mean. i listen to circa survive, the sound of animals fighting and i get blown away everytime. i'm not looking for a band to emulate them or BE them but something just as inspiring.

I love singing in Japanese, Latin and other foreign languages. Its kinda interesting. English and Chinese gets boring...

Hi all

I'm a female vocalist. I'm currently helping my husband in his alternative band and fusion ambient/lounge production. I'm from the Chinese folk music, musical & choir background and in technical sense, am a lyric soprano.

You can hear a sample of my voice at http://www.myspace.com/shiXiann

My music influence is mainly Kit Chan, Sarah McLachlan, Sheena Easton, etc. I love to sing songs that requires a lot of expression.

I'm a singer songwriter.

I'm Luth Hadrian.
Was Syawla Evol.

Cheers.

Good to see many of you out there having fervent passion for this one instrument which is the hardest to master...

yeah i am a vocalist for the scenstealers and acoustica.

Pitch Control

I have a problem with my singing. Which is my pitch, i do not know how to control.. when i sing high , my pitch will go very high and hard to get back low in the sentence. but is not to that extent of offkey or something. does anyone have any tips for controlling pitching in singing?
thanks

what i normally do is to switch form my diaphragm on the high picth then to my head voice when i wanna switch back...or instead for high notes use your falsetto.

I wanted to be one! but think i dont have the talent... haha. i do have a few friends who is taking up singing courses, but sometimes i am just wondering, does the lesson really help? can a tone deaf person be turn into a good singer after they attend the lesson? *shrug* But i love to hear people sing....
