have you guys heard of him b4?i tink he is really good...sounds wee bit lyk malmsteem but tink his songs are better..i tink he is one of the best 80s soloists...

finally someone talks about vinnie moore here :D i prefer him more than yngwie malmsteen his songs are all damn nice and melodic.i wonder why g3 didnt jam with him :? he is truly 1 of the best guitarist around and he joined 1 of the greatest band UFO wow really adds punch to the guitars.
vinnie moore is fun to listen to because he is more to intelligent playing rather than shredding 24/7 like malmsteen  my favourites are coming home, mind eye,the maze cryptic dreams and many more.
anyone has april sky?can send it to me?

I bought his cassette back in the late 80's i think, Mind's eye album. Roadrunner Records came out with several "Guitar Masters" series, featuring guitarists like Ritchie Kotzen, Vinnie moore, Greg Howe etc...

i have 2 of vinnie moore instructional videos.......hes melody and phrasing is good....but i only listen to minds eye and time oddyssey album....cassette tape that i have...never keep update about his music after that....i recommend his 2 instructional videos...get it...very useful tool to be a good lead guitarist

great guitar player he is.
i wouldnt compare him to yngwie or anyone else. each has their own style.
but definitely one of the few up there. Fav song of his is Last Chance and Rain
melodic and somewhat simple but sounds awesome.

I really like his cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and also April Sky, an adaptation of Air in G Minor....cool. This was way back in the late 80s.
