Not gonna act stupid here. The PAF sounds better somehow but the Joe Bonamassa has a slightly better fuzz tone when fuzzed up. Where are all the JB fans?

Very nicely done! It would be great too if you guys can post the equipments you guys used to record with beside the pickups?

Awesome tones. If I wanted the best of both worlds I would go for the PAF in the neck and the JB custom wound on the bridge.

Loving your vids! As Namle mentioned above, it would be real helpful to noobs like me if you pros could post up the awesome equipment and settings used to capture those killer tones. Banzai!

I am guessing the PAF Patent no. 2 737 842 are Mid '70's-early '80's Gibson T-Tops or late 80's Tim Shaw PAFs? What are the dc values for that, care to share?

Hey, thanks guys for checking out the video.

I'm not really sure on the DC values but I think it should be around 7.44 ish? And the PAF Patent No. pups were modelled towards 1962 Gibson pups.

Equipment used:
A neumann placed off-center on the MS-4, thus that CREAMY fuzz tone.

Haha! I kid, I kid. Nearly everything was recorded through a Roland Jazz Chorus at Wee Lee. With several different mics, mainly 57s and an R-121. And running a 7thvn somewhere there through a Behringer UCG102. As for the settings used for the tones, it's mostly a jumble of various different ones for each song BUT each song was recorded with the same settings. Kinda lazy to type down everything here. :P Maybe just PM me on FB or something. :p

As the current happening on gear shopping is the latest line of dirt pedals from Goosoniqueworx, and I know some of you are avid followers of his creations. Here's a game...GUESS WHICH SONG WAS A 7THVN USED IN?
