venues for gigs.where and how much?

hello ladies and gentlemen. i would like to know about places that can be used for gigs.I've heard that beat merchants arent holding gigs anymore but somehow i still see gigs being held there.

what other places are there?besides music garage.i think music garage charges $120 per hour.

so where else ah?and how much?

yeah holding gigs

yeah i want to organise some gigs.looking for venues.
probably be calling a lot of lesser known bands and 1 or 2 well known bands.

how about the gotham penthouse?u can rent it as a private party i think.ha yea its kinda sad wen i inquired beats never allow gigs there.anyway ive been trying to find plces to hold gigs too.so far cc's are cool just have to go thru the hassle of getting police approval etc.and also have to rent the equipment..haizz.i was thinkin of some warehouses.too bad ij no more oredi.
