my friend (and brudderrrrrrrr) growlingsoulpup was talking to me about it the other day, and i told him it was a pity if VR was gonna split. he told me "VR shd just continue without Weiland la"

and guess whats the big news today? hahaha

Im at both ends,happy that STP is reuniting and sad that VR has lost a great vocalist in Scott Weiland.I still remember watching the vid for Fall To Pieces and ended up choked up with tears,but whoever VR is gonna choose,it better be just as good as Scott.Plus NO AXL!

I totally agree... I never really felt that weiland fit VR very well. i'm not overjoyed that hes leaving but at least relieved to know that the core 4 members will still continue.

haha, happy that the 4 core members are staying too, but i always felt kushners never able to do anything fancy hes capable of playing in this band, heh

Yeah I think Dave Kushner is overlooked all the time. He should be allowed to do some solos too, or at least be seen more in videos. Their music videos... Usually Weiland and Slash get all the limelight. Sorum, Kushner and McKagan appear so little

Don't get me wrong, I admire Slash over all the super-fast shredders. He ain't that fast but he is powerful.

Personally I agree with some of the others. They should re-group as G'n'R. Velvet Revolver Just isn't that good. The bottom line is they need to regroup with Izzy Stradlin, he afterall was the Brains behind Guns and Roses music. Slash just added the kick a$$ melodic guitar solos. Unfortunately Axl is a crybaby and Scott is a junky...But the former is a better entertainer when he is not throwing tantrums.....
