Using Cort Guitars? There's the Ugly Truth.

Gosh!

Outright exploitation, we should really be firm with the right values. Perhaps we should NEVER support such a company or product in any other way.

Food for thought isnt it?

I agree, the only thing we can do for them is not to buy any products from that company.

It is sad. Unfortunately this will always happen around the world, for as long as people are more willing to make profits than to be a fair employer.

Yes it is really sad. Most so the view counts on there youtube videos. I least we could do is to spread awareness not to buy their products.

I'm pissed by the fact that the chairman closed the company due to 'bankruptcy' without compenstating the employees and is actually off scoot free and making cheap Ibanezs and other guitars in Indonesia.

Heh,outsourcing. But this is too much.

what's even sadder is the fact that despite such working conditions, if not for such factories the workers are likely to be jobless and live in extreme poverty. it's probably the lesser of two evils for them

Haha. Everything is produced this way now. Go watch some documentaries. EVERYTHING in your supermarket at least contains something produced with equal or lesser concern for human rights and whatnot.

Sad But True.

i used to work in this place where i was paid damn little, always kena verbal and physical punishment, constant threat of being sent to jail etc, my off days always got taken away from me and i couldn't even QUIT. but eventually i ORDed

Whats sadder are the workers who build less significant items... and have less of a voice.

What I do find most strange is that for as advanced as a country as Korea, it took this long for the word to come out.

Haha I think I worked there too. Even after 1 year of working I still went home like a maximum of 6 days in total in a month. I would always wish physical harm upon my superior. And to think I went in a nice guy, I had to go through Army to be an asshole.

Cort...........
im suprised that they treat their workers the way the do and the quality that comes out, i would expect the other way for a company to grow is to provide for its workers who in turn will produce quality instruments~

but thats not the case huh~

ya..working for brainless superiors who can lord over you only because they signed that pact to attain superiority..but i pity them..they are like tortoises stuck under a mountain their whole lives..
