to me age is never a barrier for one to go on in music or anything, i still wanna Rock n' Roll til forever. Like ey say, " u never too young or too old to Rock N' Roll"

One of my proudest moment when I was still with Urbankarma and I'm not shy to say this was during our virgin gig in Kuala Lumpur.

We went there not knowing wat to expect. Will they accept or acknowledge the kind of music that we play which is something new in 2001 or will they turn away.

We took the nightrain(I'm on the Nightrain, Bottoms Up!) from Tanjong Pagar and arrive at KL Central Station at 6am. Most of us were sleepless as we were very excited.

Made our way to the venue which is somewhere in Bukit Bintang area. It is a very well known pub but i'd forgotten the name though..

Proceed to soundcheck which was short but we did leave a little impression after the soundcheck as we can see some jaws dropped even though there were not much people in the venue.

When the gig commenced, we hang around and mingle with the other performers. From wat i can recalled, there were 2 Indonesian bands, ADA and Pause, which blew all of us with their performances. 2 Msian bands, (Gerhana Ska Cinta and one more band that i cld not recall). Which left only us, Urbankarma, to fly the Singapore Flag. 8)

We were hyped up about showing the crowd wat bands from Singapore are capable of. And to tell the truth, they were stunned. With Nazri's and Borhan's guitar madness, there was no room for them to breathe except Singapore-made music for the next 30mins.

It was hillarious to see the crowd's reaction bcos I can see their jaws hanging or they stood transfixed there. Maybe bcos, our music was alien to them and it had a tremendous impact.

We were ushered for a photosession immediately and those pictures that were taken were featured in a local M'sian music magazine and Urbankarma was the centerfold poster.

Well, there U have it... Thise videos really brought memories to me sia.

ENJOY!!

shred5 emo sia! But seriously UrbanKarma contributed alot to the metal scene not only locally, but overseas as well. Salute!

their riff tones were always evil-ass. *remember bo's old 7str schecter at myx and nash's Gibson LP*
