Upgrade from 1x12 cab to 2x12 cab

Btw bro some may misunderstand that softer sounding speakers r not suitable for rock which is a misonception cause back in the heydays of true rock 'n' roll rock musicians were using greenbacks and alnico blues and ripping it up haha.......although i guess such speakers r not loved by modern day high gain metal players.........oh well anyway happy hunting bro!

Now with all this talk i am starting to itch to try a different speaker pairing in my cab. Perhaps in future i may try to pair up a V30 with a red fang and see how it goes......i really wonder.......haha.

Those speakers are actually for radio (CB radio) and telecommunication devices / walkie talkies etc.

If you bring in speaker cabinets for AV or music applications nothing wrong.
If you bring in just the speaker alone its fine.

As for batteries etc, its more about the chemical composition.
They are not prohibited actually, they just require the relevant authorities to check through to ensure that it is safe. Or for the case of the speaker equipped telecommunication devices, that they won't cause problems.

Standard customs controlled goods the world around.

As for the speaker, I think bukka meant "soft" being having a rounder, chimy highs, less midrange and tight bottom end, also being more compressed from the alnico magnet.

And "harsh" being having a pronounced midrange and punchier from a ceramic magnet, something like the V30.

Heya lightice, thanks for clearing it up. Now I dun have to worry about ordering speakers from overseas :)

Would definitely go to the Eminence website and study the specs of each speaker before I decide.
