i think its dam lame, next to NSBM.
what a nicely framed and completely unthought-thru piece of argument. do u mind elaborating why u think its lame??
i hope u have something more than just a knee-jerk reaction to "unblack metal". do you even know enough or listen enough about it to be giving out unsubstantiated sweeping comments?

why would you say next to NSBM? have you ever listen to NSBM bands before? Or you just get sick of the NSBM bands in Singapore that makes you sick of the NSBM cult? its quite a shame for someone who to say lame without knowing that unblack metal doesnt even belongs to the same genre where NSBM belongs.. its like saying black nigga rappers are the same as white ass pop singers.. think back of what you say.. well,you may not like the BM music,so let it be.. but do some research before saying it all out without knowledge.. cheers..

aggrezior,if you want to check out unblack metal bands,well you could check out Antestor, Crimson Moonlight and Frost Liek Ashes.. btw,i dont care about this bands of what they play even they are playing christian black metal (which is lame).. btw,no point asking the people down here.. most of them think unblack metal is another version of black metal music.. which is quite lame.. you can search unblack metal forum at yahoo or google to find forums you can ask for more of your kind of music..

I find that besides ideology, unblack and black metal can be very similar. I personally love both, but I don't quite like Crimson Moonlight's music, too melodic for me. My personal favourite unblack metal band is Antestor.

Unblack metal is basically black metal but without the Satanist / anti-Christ ideologies. Usually it promotes Christianity but some bands like Antestor seem to be Christians but don't sing about religion.

I disagree. Everyone has their own opinions,i personally feel unblack metal is a genre full of crap. Just like how a typical pop fan would hate metal as a whole and only listen to what's playing on the radio. And yes BM is awesome.

And seriously, why would any single genre be full of crap? I don't find pop full of crap even though I am a metalhead.
I have never heard of any unblack metal bands. I just think that without the religion factor, black metal won't sound right. Black metal is more of a special type of music. The ideology is the crux of the genre.

and i disagree with this.
im no typical pop fan, but i still do like BSB and boyzone, plus some of the other pop acts with the exclusion of some. and i listen to the radio every night.
but i DONT hate metal as a whole. in fact i do have quite a fair share of metal songs in computer. but, no point in getting into what genres of metal they are.
music is music. its pretty much universal.
