A repost.
I have here a MINT and CHEAP Keeley modded TS-808 Ibanez Tubescreamer with the true bypass switch.
This has the Original 1987 JRC4558 chip installed in it !!! As a bonus the TI chip is attached by the side for future installation as an alternative tone. The JRC4558 chip is the most important element of the tubescreamer tone. Keeley like everyone else has since ran out the original chip supply years ago.
Ibanez is now using reissue chips from a newly manufactured supply source.
Keeley is now selling the EXACT same modded tubescreamer for US$349 excl shipping and this is without the original JRC4558 chip.
I have 2 units of these and am selling one of them now for S$330. It is in MINT condition with the box!
