trying 2 start an indie/alternative band??

hellooooo i'm a guitarist/drummer looking to jam and/or do originals with ppl
i've been listening to artists like car seat headrest and porches and frankie cosmos a lot and i'd like to explore some kind of simplistic sound like that like that ya
or whatever we could just do covers!! of bands like alvvays and the bands listed above and also local bands like cashew chemists or whatever hhhhhhhhhh
