Trip down to Singapore

Hi guys, i have confirm my trip down to singapore and I'm glad to say that I down on the 21st and 22nd of August which is tomorow and the day after.
Anyway i have compiled a list of shops which i have planned to visit which are
1)Davis guitars
2)Ebenx music
3)Guitar 77
4)East Side guitars
5)Swee Lee
6)city music ( if i have time)
7)Esden Trading, Sim Lim Square ( to get a westfield pedal bag for my Pod XTL)

I making this trip to buy a new guitar and some gear. Is there any other shops that I should check out?

What are the brands you are looking for? What type of guitars and gear are you looking for?

But I think you have most of your bases covered imho

Mainly schecters , ibanez's and Prs Se's , so i guess those are the shops. Also looking for Di marzio clip lock straps, anyone know where to get these?

Dimarzio Clip locks, I saw some at the Bras Brasah Swee Lee branch recently, not sure if they still have them though.

For the guitars except Ibanez, yes G77 and Davis should fit the bill.

Ibanez-wise, Swee Lee should have loads of them.

Do check out Guitar connection at peninsular too, opposite G77, they do have many 2nd hand guitars that are reasonably priced.

For the cliploks, might be better to ebay for them - way more variety and usually cheaper esp if 2nd hand.

just head down to peninsula, lots of those shops are located there already.. and then to ebenex if you're looking for effects, in general.

whats the difference between the bras basah swee lee and the sim drive swee lee?

Ernie Ball strings quickly found a place in my heart. Good feel, great tone. Though they do rust pretty quick. If you want stuff that lasts very long get Elixirs, which are however 3 times the price (around 18-21 bucks per pack on average).

haha, yea , elixirs cost a bomb.i'd rather get 3 packs of ernie balls or di addarios and change em when they rust,haha.

sims drive SL has much more choices of stuff to look at. But I think in some cases, what you cant find in sims drive can be found at bras basah.

we are located at 138A east coast road in katong, next to katong mall.

you can take 10. 12 or 14 from bras basah complex and drop right after you see those katong laksa shops.

If you have time, go to city music and get the DARCO strings, it's cheap, good and they last longer than Peel fresh fiona xie 'juices'...
