Tremolo problems

Hi, have a yamaha pacifica with the tremolo hole, but they didn't give me a tremolo, so went to music theme and bought 1 today.Problem is, the tremolo won't fit in.anyone know the problem?

pictures would be useful..post some pics of the trem hole and the trem bar. my guess is that its the wrong type (screw-in vs pop-in)

you should have brought your guitar down to the store to check if it fits. that saves the unnecessary trouble
