I have tried them before.. its a good alternative to changing pups but I must warn you of some things.

1) You MUST know if your pup is f-spaced or not, otherwise the pole holes on the topper will not align.

2) Don't expect them to last forever... esp if you frequently hit the middle/bridge pup with your picking.

That said... Chrome toppers are mighty tasty!

the toppers just cover the top part of the pickup,so depending on the height of your pickups you'd still see the original color on the sides..

i would definately get them without an afterthought if they were available locally though,just for fun.
