Hi Guys, just wondering if you can provide inputs on who are the top guitar players in Singapore / Asia.

Internationally, we for sure can easily name even up to 100 - but when it comes to naming local guitar players, we can't seem to.

Can help out? Can be based on skills, achievements etc

Justin ho gets my second vote. Another top notch guitarist in sg. For PD, his magic comes alive on live shows. He in fact is performing at orchard towers. You just gotta chk out his live shows.

My take is Addy…..

He is know as Addy Cradle…. or Addy Jive Talkin…

He did a ethnic fusion with prog & technical capability… Do check out his album… Divine

U can see him live, plain wit Jive Talkin in Fern & Kiwi club….. Go Addy….

Based on what I've researched about Mr Addy, seems like he's a legend here in Singapore. And that Divine album - wow. Thanks for recommending amigo.

Mr Rosli Mansor. He uses his guitar to speak the story of the song, no need for vocals. He already has 2 albums out, and he has produced many successful guitar students. Including Addy if Im not wrong.

Khai Yamin(Rosli's Rhythm Guitarist) is also someone who can show you the depth of a Rhythm Guitarist. The way he play just shows how much time he spend on Rhythm instead of scales. he gives the band what they lack in terms of sound.

Simon Yong. He has performed in various ROCK bands as lead guitarist, his probably the most experience and gives the most kickass rock solos in Singapore. His band has also performed in Singapore Indoor Stadium while he has also recently came out with an Instrumental album.
