The only time that I see a red light is when there is clipping ie the level input or output is too loud and is causing the sound to be distorted.

Apart from that I can't explain why it is a red light instead of green. Perhaps it's different production or there was a mistake in the LED used.

In any case if it works well enough, the colour of the light should be the last thing you should be afraid of.

Oh that red light. It should turn green if you had installed the driver properly.

I think there shouldn't be any other cause for it ah.

Have you installed the drivers? Mine gets red sometimes if I plug the USB into a different USB port which I didnt install the driver on, so it's best to always plug it into the same USB port to avoid reinstalling the drivers. Might be a different case from yours though, happened to me bout 3 times already

If the driver is not installed, that means the device will not work properly. Hence, the very first thing I asked is "Isit working?" But you, TS, didn't state whether it is working or not so I assumed that it is. Would be great if you had made that clear :?

um at first i installed it on my other PC....and it was green...now i installed it on another (older) computer, and its red...what do i do?

How old is your "older" computer?

You might need to go online with via Line 6 Monkey to do some driver updates.

If that don't work, might be problems with your "older" computer's USB connection. Have you tried reinstalling back to your new computer?

I need help too

:confused:how to record with tone port?

i got the tone port bcos i heard that it enables us to record..... but i still cant find a way leh. but there's one way is to use the microsoft recorder and record hahaha.

Well, if you bought UX1/2 it should come with a recording software... but you can also find other softwares like Reaper or Audacity to record your tracks.
