Toms for rhythm traveller

hmm planning on getting those Pearl Export toms u know those 8"x8" and 12"x8" toms for my pearl rhythm traveller and use those for my main toms and use my pearl rhtythm traveller toms as effect toms or maybe tune them tight till they sound like timbles. do u guys think its a good move?

1 question. where can i buy toms alone? having trouble finding some

i think u can use the 2 export toms as the primary toms,your idea of tunning them into sounding like timbles is not bad,juz make sure that they can fit into your style of playing

regarding buying of 2 toms alone,i think u'll have to order from the dealer(which would take quite some time and cost quite abit) or find a 2nd hand one,too bad u missed out on the "hari raya sale" in the buy/sell section,the dude was selling export toms..
